EMIRI General Assembly & Side events

April 15 - April 16

We inform you that our next General Assembly has been moved to April 16! This time, the meeting will be hosted by our Syensqo colleagues (former Solvay) in Brussels (Rue de Ransbeek, 310, B-1120 Brussels). Please make sure you save the new date!

As always, we are also organising side activities the day before. Here is the final agenda:

DAY 1 – April 15th:
  • 10:00h – 10:15h – Welcome coffee at VUB (Bd de la Plaine 2, 1050 Ixelles, Belgium – Building Z). Please find the campus map here. 
  • 10:15h – 11:30h – VUB’s batteries lab tour

—- Transfer to ArcelorMittal (John Kennedylaan 51, 9042 Gent) including a stop at Brussels airport at ~12:00h —-

  • 13:15h – 14:15h – Lunch  
  • 14:15h – 15:15h  – Introduction to Steelmaking
  • 15:15h – 17:15h  – ArcelorMittal’s steelmaking plant tour 

—- Transfer back to Brussels —-

  • 19:30h – Dinner at Cowfish in Brussels (Rue du Pépin 39, 1000 Brussels, Belgium)
 
DAY 2 – April 16th  – Hosted at Syensqo (formerly Solvay, rue de Ransbeek, 310, 1120 Brussels – Building R).

We remind you that the General Assembly and side activities are open to all our members so please, do not hesitate to share this information within your organisation.

Physical registration closed.

To allow more members to participate in the GA meeting, joining online will also be possible, as well as, vote delegation. Therefore, all the members are invited to complete the registration form to inform us about their participation modality.
